The first stop of the tour took place at the Casa do Povo do Concelho de Olhão – Moncarapacho, where the Foundation’s team was warmly welcomed by the institution’s users and professionals. This first gathering marked the official start of a collective journey that invites each participating organization to leave its mark through the itinerant backpack “Vive a tua Diferença” — a symbol of unity that will travel from north to south of the country carrying small, emotionally significant objects created by people with disabilities supported by each organization.
The first phase of the “Vive a tua Diferença” Tour will take place in the Algarve, between October and December 2025, involving the Algarve-based entities that participated in the festival of the same name held in Tavira in April this year. After this regional stage, the initiative will continue on a national tour, visiting every district of the country until August 2026, culminating in a symbolic closing ceremony hosted by a national reference entity.
During its stay at each institution, the itinerant backpack will serve as a starting point for moments of sharing, artistic expression, and reflection on the importance of diversity — reinforcing the role of the social sector in building a more inclusive, supportive, and conscious society.
Participating institutions are invited to share their experiences on social media and on the initiative’s Facebook page using the hashtags #roteirodeinclusão #viveatuadiferença #inclusão #diversidade, helping
