Who we are
The Irene Rolo Foundation, created in 1982 by Irene Dulce da Palma Arez Rolo, began activities in 1986, offering training for people with disabilities. In 1993, it expanded with the inauguration of the main building, integrating new social responses. Over the years, it opened a Residential Home (1994), the New Projects Unit (2001) and, in 2024, the Autonomization and Inclusion Residence. In 2010, he received the Order of Merit, standing out for his commitment to social inclusion.
What we do
We support people with disabilities and their families, as well as other vulnerable groups, within the scope of prevention, reception, rehabilitation, professional training and social inclusion, with a view to promoting their quality of life.
