It is an Autonomy and Inclusion Residence, aimed at people with disabilities, aged 18 or over, who, through support in their autonomy and inclusion project, can transition, whenever possible, to alternative solutions for life in the community. This symbolic act was attended by the Mayor of Tavira and the Director of Social Security of Faro, among other individuals. The three new residents who received the keys to the Residence yesterday will define, together with the technical team, their Individual Autonomy Plans, according to their interests, habits, needs and expectations. The inclusive residential support model will comprise the development of the skills necessary for living in the residence and in the community.
