With a view to training socially responsible citizens who contribute to building a better society, the Irene Rolo Foundation's Rehabilitation and Professional Training Center seeks to involve trainees in activities that promote environmental and solidarity values, with a social impact on the community, namely through activities such as:
- Collection and collection of paper (newspapers, magazines, photocopies, scrap paper) with a view to delivering it to the Food Bank against Hunger, which will be converted into food products to be distributed to needy people in the community;
- Participation in campaigns to collect plastic bottle caps, delivering them for recycling and using the sales proceeds to cover the costs of therapy for a child with multiple disabilities in the municipality of Tavira, and also collaborating in the "From Bottle Cap to Bottle" campaign by the Algarve Oncology Association.
