Empowerment and Inclusion Residency
Towards an Independent Life
Recipients
The Residence for Empowerment and Inclusion is intended for people with disabilities, aged 18 or over, who, through support in their empowerment and inclusion project, can transition, whenever possible, to alternative living solutions in the community. Our residence has a capacity for 3 people.
Support and services
The services to be provided under the inclusive residential support model are, in particular, the following:
- Inclusive residential accommodation and support, family-style, with health, comfort, safety, privacy, accessible and adapted to the needs of its residents;
- Individualized psychosocial care and monitoring;
- Definition of an Individual Autonomization Plan (PIA), to be defined according to the interests, habits, needs and expectations of the resident;
The inclusive residential support model also includes support:
- In domestic activities, namely in feeding with adequate nutritional standards and adapted to specific needs, in treating clothes, and in cleaning and sanitizing the home;
- In health, hygiene and personal care, exceptionally, when requested by the residents themselves or when these cannot be carried out completely autonomously;
- In the development of skills necessary to take an active part in planning, programming and organization of activities that structure life in the home and community, such as shopping, meal planning, task sharing, travel and leisure activities;
- Access to community resources, facilitating the efficient use of existing services;
- Access to products or technologies that support functionality and autonomy.
